Cut call.
Our old cook acted like he could not hear my voice and cut the call.
For the past 2 days, I tried to reach him. He is doing the same kind of acting repeatedly.
This time, I got confirmation that he was intentionally acting.
I got up from my chair and went to the hall to inform my dad.
One of our student tenants escaped from a common mistake made by our electrical contractor team.
Luckily, he got only injured on his shoulders, and nothing serious happened.
This incident happened a few days back.
When we were distributing housewarming invitation cards, we were not there in the home.
Finally, we finished our housewarming function. It was a little stressful and sleepless job.
Not all things go as planned.
Something always goes wrong…
In our case, it was “cook.”
Yesterday, again, we went to Chickpete to buy steel bowl gift items to give to our visitors on our housewarming day.
After giving invitation cards, we noticed we bought some shortage… so we had to go again.
Anyway.
Today I wanted to share one of the real stories that recently happened with our neighbourer house.
They recently built a house.
While distributing our housewarming invitation card, we went to one of our relative’s houses. Who was staying in the rental property.
As soon as we saw the house, we were impressed.
It’s a brand new building… and that too for rental property. It was a very well-designed building.
We told the same to our relatives as well.
Today at around 11:20 PM, the BESCOM meter reader started calling, “Sir.. sir… are there in the house?” standing in front of the house.
My Dad and I were there in the hall.
I opened my CCTV app on my mobile to double-check he was calling us only.
After seeing him in front of our gate, I got confirmed.
I got confused seeing him today. Because today is not meter reading day, but the meter reader is calling us.
Last Saturday, my brother and I went to a battery shop to replace our dead car battery.
Usually, all battery shops take old batteries at discounted prices. So we took our old battery to replace it with a new battery.
The owner first asked us if we needed to recharge or if we wanted to buy a new battery?
We know recharging the battery is a temporary solution, so we went with replacing the battery itself.
Yesterday we gave our invitation card to the graphic shop near my house.
When I took the card, the staff guy in the shop immediately said No, we don’t do invitation card printing.
Still… I know the owner. I asked where is the owner. He replied he had not yet come.
Ok. I will keep the cards here. Once the owner comes, let me know, as I informed and left.
After some time, I returned to the shop to speak to the owner.
Yesterday, my brother and I were buying some products on Amazon.
Unlike previous year’s deals, this year it was quite difficult to get deals.
The limit of how much you can buy from a single card and all such other rules.
I think in the past few days, I ordered more than 50,000 worth of products. Because of some limitations from Amazon, I had to use multiple Amazon accounts and different SBI cards to secure deals.
I was quite busy with the homewarming function arrangement and went to my hometown, so I couldn’t send any emails.
As soon I returned home, I ordered 7 celing fans with remote online, which is required for our house.
This is a great time to shop for products online, as some sellers reduce product prices, and you will also get discounts from banks.
