Last week I went on a Rameshwarm trip. Few back I’m back to my home. After taking enough breaks, I’m writing this email.
This trip is a pretty new experience for me.
I went on some trips… Most are day trips or local trips organised by someone who knows the place.
This time, it’s a completely different experience.
All of us are pretty new to the places we visited. We took our own vehicle driven by my brother.
A few days back I went to our village house. I haven’t shared that house story yet.
Maybe this story could help someone who has an old house and wants to do Renovation work.
When my dad was about to retire, he decided to go and settle in his hometown. He got an old house after a property partition happened between both brothers.
Yesterday, Me and my dad wanted to visit the hospital.
My dad and I thought the doctor informed us to come yesterday, so the day before yesterday night, we were getting ready…
While keeping all the documents inside my bag, I opened my discharge summary letter. They clearly mentioned in writing that I needed to visit after 4 Weeks instead of 14 days (which I thought).
I informed the same to my dad.
Today, my work is filled with applying for a lot of credit cards. The reason is the discount we get when shopping online.
Sometimes, I miss discounts due to not having that specific bank credit card.
And I only apply for free credit cards…
Not the cards that require any annual fees and all.
Few days back we met our first cement supplier when we went to vegetable shopping there.
He started speaking to my dad and asking “why you are no longer doing business with us.”
For your information, he not only sells cement and steel. He also has shamiyana and light items as well. Usually, for any of our functions, we used to order from his shop earlier.
After realising the cement price difference between his shop and another secret shop, we stopped buying cement, steel and shamiana items from his shop.
Yesterday, my Mom and my wife went to a baby naming ceremony at the backside of our house.
After finishing the function, both of them returned.
I returned from my home office (new building) to our house (first house) to ask how the function was…
Good. Both replied.
While having a conservation, my wife informed me that they wanted to reconstruct their house.
We always make some changes while doing construction work.
Similarly, we also changed the window placement on our first building.
The building contractor labourer already built a wall and placed a window. After that, someone came to the building and gave a good and valid suggestion.
Yesterday one of our relatives came to our house.
It’s just a casual visit to our house. Their house is somewhat near to our house.
They recently constructed their building… before starting their construction work, they visited our house just to discuss their construction plan and to take suggestions.
Me and my dad gave a few suggestions while discussing.
I shared a few very important things.
I’m sending this email from my village… I came here for a village festival which happens once a year, every year.
It’s a grand festival most of them will gather for this festival from different places.
It’s FUN to meet everyone.
My dad called me on the phone in a low tone, saying, “Arun, some major issue happened. Come Urgently to the second floor….”
Before this call…
Our carpenter came to install Soap Trays on the Toilet. My dad went with our carpenter.
I and my MOM were talking outside our first floor by sitting on a chair… As it’s not a major task, I didn’t go with my dad.
