Know when it usually rains.
Usually, rain comes during a specific time of the day in every area. It could be early morning or afternoon or in the evening.
Here in bangalore I always notice rain usually comes after 1PM onwards.
If that’s the case, then you can ask your building contractor to arrange a molding gang to set up their equipment on the previous day itself.
A few days back, one of our customers asked about RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) vs. Manual/Site mix concrete for RCC molding.
He asked for my input or what we opted for in our building. I quickly replied to his email about what we opted for and why. I thought many of you might have same questions in your head.

Here are a few things you must be aware of on molding day.
1) It will be a busy day. You need to manage and arrange a lot of things during molding day
2) The more family members were available that day, more helpful
3) You must arrange food for all the laborers on the molding day. Some owners order outside, some arrange themself, and few give money.
The day before yesterday, while I was reading a book on my Kindle at 1 Am, suddenly, one picture came to my mind.
Our ground floor RCC slab/mold could have collapsed during molding day due to a centering/shuttering mistake.
As soon I remembered this incident, that time I learned how I could not have shared this story yet? So here I’m sharing that real incident.
While working on my next upcoming guide on electrical contractor guide, I noticed outside my bedroom cum office room window — one molding work was going on from early morning to afternoon till 1PM.
