Today, I wanted to share an email about the sump motor. In Mysore, I noticed most houses use a normal 1 HP Water Pump. The motor they keep outside the sump openly to pump water to the overhead tank. There is nothing wrong with using Open type pumps. We even have a open type pump in our native house. Where we use just a few times per year. Anytime we switch on the motor, we don’t hear anything because of motor sound....
Water running on the main road. The house owner was inside the house. They are not aware of what’s happening outside… I saw this today while I was returning from our first house to the second house through the backside door after my breakfast. It’s happening in dad’s friend’s house. As we knew of them, I informed my dad to call and inform the uncle. He called and informed them about water was overflowing from their sump....
Today at 7:13 Am, I got a call from an unknown number. As it’s early morning… I was still sleeping, so I didn’t receive the call. I immediately got a WhatsApp text, which I didn’t notice. Again, I got a call from another tenant. I saw that it was our tenant. I now received a call while I was on the bed. On the other end, “Bro, water not coming…”...

Our plumber also visited our house today to give the list of plumbing items required for our house. He gave a list of requirements. I note down all those items. In that list, the Angle Valve is one such item. In our building, we needed too many angle valves....
In our first building, we kept 6-inch PVC pipes in the toilet and kitchen for ventilation and to install exhaust fans. We installed a typical 6" PVC Vent Cowl for every pipe. We installed an exhaust fan as well. No issue for a few days. Day by day, Pigeons started coming inside the pipe and started developing nests and eggs on almost all the pipes. Because of the exhaust fan, pigeons were not coming inside....
