I’m just back from the temple and writing this email calmly. Today, I noticed something interesting. Today, the waterman left water on our line/house. Our sump got full and started overflowing at 12:08PM. So my dad closed the valve. (We have an automated valve closing in our house. We once removed it, we didn’t put it back. I will talk about that in the Sump Automation Guide) At 6 PM, our opposite house sump got full and started overflowing. Today, no one was there in their house, so I called our area water man to stop water in our line....
Bangalore users already started facing water issues. If you watch the news, you may probably be aware of the issues currently going on in Banglore. I don’t watch any news. Still, some serious news comes to me. Anytime summer comes, water scarcity rises, and water tankers’ golden period starts. Some tankers make good money. This is a golden period for them… Here in Mysore, I still see some house sump water overflowing in the road even though they have metered connections....

It’s happening in dad’s friend’s house. As we knew of them, I informed my dad to call and inform the uncle. He called and informed them about water was overflowing from their sump....
Yesterday, while writing about water level controllers, I found an Amazon best-seller product. Which is a water level controller… It’s not the product that I recommend in my blog post. It’s something else. Out of curiosity, I opened the product and checked what was special about this product. The only thing I noticed is that it’s a little bit cheaper than the product I’m recommending and has fewer features. The price difference is not huge…...

They have been trying to fix the Water not coming to their sump problem since yesterday. It happened behind our house itself. I took some photos as well. If you are interested, see the images here. I thought about sharing yesterday itself… But the work is not yet completed. Till today, 7.30 Pm, labourers are working on this task… Tomorrow also some work will be there for civil labourers to fix....
This issue happened to our first sump. We decided to use 2 manual labourers to clean our sump. And our sump is 30,000 to 35,000 ltr capacity. In the beginning, we didn’t have any issues… Everything went smoothly… until the labours reached the ending stage of cleaning. That time we realised our sump design mistake. My dad and I were standing outside the sump cover and talking about the mistake that took so much time to clean the sump....
