My brother and I talked a few days back about How new labourers made smoothing finishing to wooden frames, which we didn’t know about earlier. Until a few days back, we were unaware that painter’s task involves these things and that they can do those smooth finishing work for wooden frames. Our 1st painting contractor stopped working on our building due to personal problems. So we have to look for other painting contractors for our building....

But we underestimated where and all paint can fall. When the work was going on… I got a WhatsApp message from one girl saying: ___ Hello Good morning The paint is all over the scooter. If you had informed me, I would have moved it....

Today while our painter was doing their work, one of the painters accidentally fell inside our sump. Fortunately, nothing serious happened. Only his leg got little hurt… and he was in shock for some time. He is completely inside the sump… While falling inside the sump, he held the sump opening by his hand so he didn’t completely go inside the sump. Immediately two other painters lifted him upside. We are lucky our sump is not full....

Yesterday we finished our front elevation painting work. We waited a few months to stop raining. It’s almost rained daily or day after day. So we couldn’t able to start painting work till now. We only have front elevation painting work pending. If rain comes, all 3 labourers don’t have any work. Paint and Labour payments will be wasted… so we had no choice apart from waiting this long. Somehow last few days, it’s not raining heavily....

We were doing repainting work for our own house. All inside work is done… Only the front elevation painting work is pending. We are trying to finish that front elevation painting work from last week onwards. But it’s not happening due to rain. The problem with rain is… LOSS Usually, it rains from 2 Pm onwards for a few hours. For outside painting work, a minimum of 3 painters will do the job....

Painters do all the painting work, but when it’s time to do the wall putty sanding task, most laborers lose interest. For that reason, every painting contractor offers a special bonus to laborers for finishing the putty sanding work. The laborer will not get paid on a per-day basis. Instead, they will assign that to a lumpsum task. Like finish one building, and you will get paid this much. And the price is usually double the normal labor charge....
