I went on some trips… Most are day trips or local trips organised by someone who knows the place. This time, it’s a completely different experience. All of us are pretty new to the places we visited. We took our own vehicle driven by my brother....
After fixing one of the tenant’s fan issues recently, I decided to share the incident below. At the end of our house construction, we went to buy a ceiling fan for our rental property. We shop for all our construction-related products in the hardware shop we went to. Me and my dad simply asked the shop owner which brand fan we would buy like… He suggested some well-known brands, and I checked online to see that the product got a 40K+ rating on Flipkart, so I ordered around 26 fans of that brand....
Yesterday, one of our tenants had his fan stop working. My brother, my dad and I went to check there. When my brother removed the switch plate, he shared “why they used this type of screw “. Below is the image of Original/manufacturer Screws: It’s a valid point. The reason is they are not easy to operate screws. I had a similar incident happen a few months back. In my home office, I needed to change some switch orders....
Today at 7:13 Am, I got a call from an unknown number. As it’s early morning… I was still sleeping, so I didn’t receive the call. I immediately got a WhatsApp text, which I didn’t notice. Again, I got a call from another tenant. I saw that it was our tenant. I now received a call while I was on the bed. On the other end, “Bro, water not coming…”...
A few days back, me, my wife and my 1.8-year-old daughter were going on a bike to a nearby shop. Instead of going on the main road, we went on the inside road so traffic wouldn’t be there. I usually drive my bike slowly… like 30km speed. While going, if no traffic is there, I always look to the surrounding environment for inspiration. These days, it’s about building. There was a new building....
Yesterday we were not in our house till 10pm… within that time someone took outside blub. My guess is it’s our tenants. All our tenants are college students. I guess someone’s bulb might gone, and they took the shortcut to replace it. I haven’t asked any of them yet. And I won’t even plan to ask. If we had installed CCTV, we could have easily identified who the guy was....
They have been trying to fix the Water not coming to their sump problem since yesterday. It happened behind our house itself. I took some photos as well. If you are interested, see the images here. I thought about sharing yesterday itself… But the work is not yet completed. Till today, 7.30 Pm, labourers are working on this task… Tomorrow also some work will be there for civil labourers to fix....
